Throughout the year, our school plans a variety of events for students to experience. Students are able to experience Japanese culture and communicate with their classmates, teachers, and Japanese people, which provides them with a better learning opportunity.

Explanatory meeting on advancement to higher education

Sports tournaments (biennial)

In the fall of sports, let’s work up a good sweat in class competition! Teamwork is important for both teachers and students, and let’s work together to win!

Cultural Festival (biennial)

Festival of Canaan. There are many fun events such as yo-yo fishing, fortune-telling, yukata experience, and wagering!

Kanan Cup (Futsal Games)

Inter-class futsal on a court near the school. Let’s get rid of our daily lack of exercise and run around energetically! Every time we cheer, we get enthusiastic!

Winter

Cultural experience

Every year, we offer a wide variety of experiences, such as ikebana (flower arrangement) and traditional Japanese games, as well as learning how to make Japanese sweets and draw illustrations by inviting instructors from vocational schools!

Speech contest

Representatives from each class will give presentations in Japanese on a variety of topics, including their experiences in Japan, school life, and social issues. His unique speeches are a must-listen!

Graduation ceremony

Time for a new departure. I’m going to keep the wonderful time I spent with my Canaan friends in my heart and flap my wings to be active in the world!

School excursion

Making last memories with all the graduates and teachers. It’s a little lonely, but we enjoy it every year!
