    The Kanan International Academy of Education has been approved by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as an educational institution since April 2018.

    This is the 30th Japanese language school in Tokyo (according to our research).

    Based on the law, we strictly manage and manage the number of teachers and the size of the classrooms according to the class hours and the number of students.

    Students can also use “student discounts” and use commuter passes, museums, and commercial facilities at “student discount” prices.

    What is proper school?

    The term “educational institution” refers to one that is recognized to be under proper enrollment control for foreign college students specified by the Immigration Control Agency. To be recognized as an appropriate school, it is necessary to meet certain stringent standards every year.

    Canaan International School of Education has been certified as a suitable school since its opening in 2003.

  • Features 02Be strong in advancing to higher education

    Guidance for the advancement of the Kanan International Academy of Education focuses on thorough individual instruction.

    The primary mission of the teacher in charge is to pass the school that the student wants, and the teacher will provide thorough guidance and support on a one-to-one basis.

    In addition to on-campus programs, we also provide opportunities for students to learn from various perspectives, such as visiting classes at famous universities and appointing outside advisors, to increase their motivation to go on to higher education.

    It is an ideal environment for students who wish to enter graduate school, as it allows detailed guidance on the preparation of research plans and statements of reasons for application for graduate school.

  • Features 03Generous student support

    For each student, two or three full-time faculty members will support them in charge of assignment, guidance on going to school, and guidance on living.

    We also provide support for various procedures such as application, and have an optimal support system in place so that you can engage in classes with peace of mind even after you come to Japan.

    In addition, we can follow up with all students in five languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean, and can respond in their native languages.

    According to the notification criteria of the Ministry of Justice, a full-time instructor should be present for 60 students.

    At the Canaan Institute of International Education, we have about twice as many full-time instructors for every 30 students, so we are able to provide more generous guidance.

    The Canaan Institute of International Education offers a wide range of study incentives for students and scholarship support both inside and outside the school.

    In-school scholarships

    Payment of 20,000 yen per month for a total of 240,000 yen per year.
    Up to three people. Payment will be made from the second year. It is scheduled to start in April 2022.

    Conditions of application
    1. Cumulative attendance rate of 90% or more
    2. Those with excellent cumulative grades and good class attitude
    3. A person who is planning to go to a university in Japan as a regular student from April
    Full-time prize

    The attendance rate from enrollment to graduation is 100% and is given to those who leave early without arriving late.

    Scholarship program to support student skills

    This is a support activity in which the school side purchases the skills of students (paintings, calligraphy, sculptures, crafts, lyrics, etc.). Starting in 2020, we support several students each year.

    The class uses the newest IT equipment.

    We also use WSDB app as a student administration tool. Students’ grades and attendance rates can be directly checked from the smartphone app. This can be seen not only by the students themselves, but also by agents and parents from the same app, allowing for detailed information sharing.

    The classroom/classroom is very easy to spend with pink on the 3rd floor, blue on the 4th floor, and green on the 5th floor. The latest facilities are also in place.

    8 minutes by bicycle from school and 9 minutes by bus. Approximately two minutes walk to the bus stop. 12 minutes walk from Hirai Station

    Spot color :
    The owner of the dormitory is a faculty member of our school, so you can rest assured. All the rooms are newly built and have a spacious and open feel. wifi is also well equipped. There is a large playground just a minute’s walk away where you can enjoy sports. At the nearby Komatsugawa Senbonzakura Park, the cherry blossoms in full bloom are very beautiful in spring. There are also reasonable supermarkets and drugstores. BBQ are also held regularly on the rooftop of the dormitory.

    Six minutes walk from Shinkoiwa Station. 13 minutes by bicycle (5 minutes by train) from school.

    The owner of the dormitory is a faculty member of our school, so you can rest assured. Every room has a spacious and open feel. Lots of storage too. wifi is also well equipped. There is a shopping street nearby, and many delicious restaurants are crowded.

    It’s a 10-minute bike ride from school. A four-minute walk from Hirai Station.

    The owner of the dormitory is a faculty member of our school, so you can rest assured. Every room has a spacious and open feel. wifi is also well equipped. There are shopping streets and hospitals within a five-minute walk, making it very convenient for daily life.

    Kinshicho-ryo

    Site Location :
    It’s a 10-minute bike ride from school. A 6-minute walk from Oshiage Station. A 10-minute walk from Kinshicho Station.

    Spot color :
    There are department stores, convenience stores, and drugstores in the area. Life and transportation are good, and you can see the Skytree from the balcony.

  • Features 10Convenient and safe living environment

    Canaan Institute of Global Education is conveniently located in the city center, with three nearest stations: JR Sobu Line, the Tobu Kameido Line, and the Toei Shinjuku Line.

    There are department stores, supermarkets, banks, hospitals, and post offices nearby, so you can live comfortably. There is also a public high school in front of the school, so there is no need to worry about safety.
